This is maxime. And me. Max was our class's Chairman for the first half of 2007. He is now residing comfortably in MDIS(Max, sorry had to blog this up). Well, yeah, unfortunately, the one covered with some cloth is me. I was being sabotaged by this blond curly guy in the middle of the walkway of Esplanade. Sigh! So many memories. I still haven't got over the fact that our class is splitting up. Not to mention the already predicted commotion we will (or rather specifically I) would have to face on 'D' day. In lieu of merrily preparing for christmas, I am daily fretting over 'D' day on my beautifully decorated recliner. I mean, can anyone cease the perturbations processing profusely in my head? I dread 'D' Day! Crap! So many homework needs to be done and yet, I am busy planning on what to consume for dinner. Haply sadly, it would have to be maggi mee, albeit, it is unhealthy. Oh well, i guess that is all i've got today. Love ya all. C ya Soon!

Even the Prince has to sulken down and cry for those who have left us. You will forever be kept in 07A2's memory book!

Well for those who are joining us next year, let's put our hands and hearts together to welcome them, and propitiate them should they feel otherwise. Perhaps, we should also proffer them a glass of wine and make them feel homely. Afterall, they might be our classmates for the other 2 years.

Alas, there might be tension in the air though. See the thing is Zul (07A7) class chairman is there and Patrick will also be there. So there might be an "armed race" - commotion - arousing. The plus point is, there are new found talent in our class next year. Esther - the transcendent singer - will be in our class. In addition, we have Patrick - the Hip hop dancer - as well as the TOP student for Econs - Ye Tat - next year!

On the contrary, the down point for that would mean more dominant and strong headed people, compelling us to learn to understand each other people's characteristic once again, and re-group our expected members for PW. I have forecasted already. There would definitely be a lot of bitching going on around so, people, let's try to minimize it (although i will still bitch about it one way or another). But really, if you need to bitch, the tag board is off ground (there is a way to track who wrote those nonsense by the way) and please be more discreet! Unless you can keep you bitchiness like Pam (sorry to use your name again) outright and amicable, try not to bombard the person's reputation through that stink mouth of yours. (NOT REFERRING TO PAM AH)...

Welcom to 07A2's Blog!

On today's topic, I wish to touch on the beautiful effect of Drinking, Clubbing and Smoking. I know what you guys are thinking. What in the world is so beautiful about that? Well, read on to find out!

You see, after a long hard day after work, most working adult (those spinster, sluts and super good looking me) would most probably select going to a nearby pub to have a drink. Not only does it helps to lower your body temperature, it is actually (based on researched) good to suppress any laid back stress.

What about clubbing? Clubbing, naturally sparks the word DANCING, Drinking and DRUNK in our mids mind. A scan down mohd sultan, tanjong pagar, clarke quay, one would find many HIP people (like me) awaiting in ques (but i don't - i am on guest list DUH!!!) to get into the noise filled place. It is dark and FUN - DANCING - It helps to release stress as well as loose weight. I mean, you do sweat after you dance right? What more! You get to drink...

Smoking .. well, let's just say, you help the economy to go on... and you get to die early and meet GOD early! Ain't that great?

i am a bored kid who decides to update the class blog at 0225 hours in the morning.

this shows how bored i am.

anyway! i am so bored i shall open today's post this way....

OHA-LUCKY!!( those who watch lucky star the anime would know who i am quoting from.)

anyway i did promise you guys the details of the class outing here, and in my almost coma- like state due to me being extremely bored, i forgot.

to be frank, now that i think about it.....i'm always forgetting things.

okay, let's cut the crap.

details about next sat.....

meeting time: 6:00-6:30
venue: marina bay mrt station.
attire: well , i guess just wear clothes that u are comfortable in . cause we'll be eating and doing some active stuff after dinner.
activities: well, u can tell we have dinner first....steamboat!!! \(*3*)/\(*3*)/
then after that we are going bowling!!!! (note to girls: if you're going to wear flip flops or flats or sandals...please bring an extra pair of socks...we'll be renting the shoes and you need socks to go along with it)

( well, competitive bowling is really fun....please say you'll join me in having fun at this event.u guys can split up in teams and we can have a betting pool on who wins....it'll be like pe again....except we dun have betting pools for pe....ah well i'm rambling on here...)

by the way, 1 mental note: i haven't got a chance to check if the steamboat place at the marina is halal...it should be...but i really gotta check first...if any one has been there , can you tell me ? please?

oh yes! one more thing! we're also celebrating zac's birthday on that day, even though his birthday is actually one day before the class outing....but then again, we're still toasting the thing to him! and also....if you guys want to come down earlier....you guys can go kite flying!

ps. some of the drama people might be late to the event due to us having a prior engagement in the afternoon (amy/melvin, siti and i) so we might be late! if tt were to happen, please just meet at the mrt and just take off first. we'll be able to find u guys at the place. but if we are late, i'll just designate someone to take care of you guys first (eg. lead you guys to the steamboat place) and make sure he/she won't get you guys lost. oh yeah, i gt invite ms low.

i guess after what seems like weeks of trepidation, this is the results of the venues of the class outing.

Well firstly, i guess that we have a bit of a conflict here.
the initial plan was to go to the zoo, but now there is a bit of conflict regarding the price of the admission ticket of the zoo.

HEY PPL!!! the now main owner of 07a2s blog is back!

sorry it took a long time to write, i haven't written anything for so long! but dun worry , i'll continue this blog and i'll make sure this blog will still keep running for at least another two more years!

so anyway, before i continue, congrats to those who have moved on to year 2, but we gotta make sure that we strive to work harder. what happened to the other classes will one day happen to us. already so many have left to pursue other routes. a2 suffered as well, cause now kala is gone. we wish her all the best, and keep in contact with her.

anyway....to business....

CLASS OUTING TO THE ZOO!

well, since bern suggested it, i thought it might be a good idea to do something like that. perhaps the sign to really convince me to go to the zoo was a dream i had about sheep attacking my old secondary school, but then again, that is not a story for now....

anyway, all are welcome to this outing, and it'll be on a sat, this month. arshad, zach, kala and sherlyn , give me a date as to what time you guys are free and i'll set a date! you guys gotta come! the zoo is beckoning us!

by the way, i'll be gone during the whole month of december to hong kong, so till then i'll more or less be leaving this thing alone, cause my place in hk has no internet connection(sounds of cheers can be heard in the background). hey, stop that! just because i leave does not mean this thing will be destroyed/left alone for one month! thus, i'll be leaving this blog to someone suitable and responsible to keeping this blog afloat. this person has got to be able to update the class on several things, inclusive of blogging about the new class schedules and new class list . and i'll find ways and means to check on this.....dun underestimate me and my powers of finding a computer WITH internet access. just because i'll be stuck in hong kong does not mean this thing is going to die without me!

which reminds me, i gotta find someone to entrust this blog to. give me a few days....i'll designate someone by the end of this month before i leave for hong kong.

this means that we'll camp out under the stars instead of being stuck in some chalet which is expensive, by the way.

konnichiwa, until now, we haven't heard any ideas on what kinda
thing we can do for class outing. maybe it's because until now, no one comes to this blog or u guys just dun care about the virtual world anymore. in any case, i would thus bounce some ideas off here to see if u guys wish to agree.

1) paintbomb bombings.

Fyifyi and i , being lovers of violence, actually wished to play crossfire paintball with the class as they actually have a facility we can use in SDC. (aka singapore discovery centre) however we were told this was very expensive, thus we have abandoned the idea. Not. come on, the thrill of attacking and perhaps being attacked by the enemy...is it not a sweet idea?

thus, we have come up with paintbomb. concept could be like this: teams are separated into four, and then each team will play "mission impossible" they basically throw bombs at others to score points. perhaps we can have different colours to depict number of points.eg. blue colour paint on clothes = 5 points, orange paint= 6 points etc. however if u guys really wanna play this, this would mean u guys firstly would have to wear old clothes cause i'm really afraid the paint might be unwashable. (i think we'll get water soluble paint though, but u can't be too careful.)

2) The amazing race, singapore.

teams will have to finish the task appointed to u before hand and u guys will have to stick it out.
plays something like the one on tv.

3) beach fun, sentosa style.

the absolute beach thing everyone does for the summer. we go to the beach, suntan or do whatever u guys do at a beach. or we can combine this with a bbq. see the trap to fall in is that this might not suit everyone. as teenagers, we need to be ENTERTAINED. thus the beach idea might get some people bored. ah well.

4)sleepover in the school.

well, seemed like a good idea.

5)food and talking . as usual.

we go for the huge fest like we did in newton hawker centre. then we can go off to some place so that we can crap.

6)iceskating

anyone game?

7) zoo/bird park/ underwater world.

8. Snow city.

u can tell by this that i am so running out of ideas. please help me.

hey people......how was the bio exam? hope you guys could cope with it.

anyway this is an update from the earlier post on the class outing. The suggestion was to have the outing on next monday or tuesday cause logically, we would be celebrating the end of exams. however, this may not be appropriate as the muslim students will still have to go through ramadan and it wouldn't be fair not to invite them for the outing because of that. besides, if you ppl do keep track of the tagboard, zachary has exams as well , and if we do go without him, i have this feeling he'll swear revenge on all of us and kill me first . Already he thinks i'm high on drugs because my new nickname for him is "barker boy" which he so denies.

thus we will push back the class outing till somewhere in Nov, after the 13th. (i have to push it back a lot cause the muslim kids have hari raya after ramadan and i dun wanna get in trouble [smiles sheepishly].)

in the meantime, i would appreciate suggestions on where to go for our class outing. if you guys can think of a place to fit almost close to 30 insane kids, i'll be in debt to u forever. okay not exactly forever , but until graduation at least.

(by the way, i suggest the cross fire paintball. but you have to pay a bit and you have to set a date too.)

Bands performing include The Suns, Astroninja Allstars (featuring members from Ronin, The Suns, Electrico and more), West Grand Boulevard, Caracal, Firefight and various amazing local bands.

Held at The Pavilion, Far East Square near Raffles Place MRT. Saturday, 23 June from 5pm onwards.

Hi to the general public again...this is fun writing stuff...i noticed i TOTALLY forgot about announcing this in class today....but maybe cause it was due to pe and i didn't get a chance to announce it during home tutor's period......

anyway , tomorrow we need to start the planning of our first artsy fartsy event . we have to go and watch a dance which will be during the singapore arts festival in june ....so please remember to remind me to talk to you ppl about it.

subsidy of each student is $12 per ticket .or 50% . whatever is lower.and students who do not turn up to the concert for no valid reason will have no choice but to pay full price for the ticket.

i just checked the play dates of the dances and most of them are at the beginning of june ... ppl who cannot make it , pls tell me and submit valid reason proof ( i accept photocopies of plane tickets)

so other than tt , i'll be talking abt the dances tomorrow!

Hey all ye beautiful people!
i'm gonna leave a short note for the international friendship day 's activity before i watch miss singapore universe. i cannot believe they just keep packing it in....i also can't believe i volunteered to be in charge of this.

anyway the whole class has to contribute $1 to ME!!! It's for my retirement fund .

only kidding. this one single dollar is for the materials for the gift hamper so that we can use that instead of the class fund. it's recommended we do personalized stuff.that doesn't mean we can just simply write our names on a piece of paper cause it's personalized.we all have to make something. the end product must be a hamper. like the kind you give as door prizes and chinese new year. so we definitely need some tasteful wrapping paper to wrap things up. we also have to write a small message to the class which is 07B3. it's to be read out after the gift is showed.

cause the gift thing is presented on the 27th , we have to pass this up by the 25th to the staff work room! if we don't we have to compensate the class we doesn't have the gift! we have to agree on what and how to present them. so ppl i suggest we all make something for them! so that by wednesday morning we can have all the gifts and all we have to do is wrap the hamper up.

on the bright side if we win either "most attractive gift or "best personalized gift"....we get free swenson's vouchers! can you say ," class outing?"

ps. we are not allowed to put in cigarettes , alcholic drinks or stuff with offensive material on them.

so i hope we can stay back to do this on either monday or wednesday!

Once again, I'm here to slash out everything and to let you know what a great class you are. I'm still deeply affected by our loss today. I take defeat very badly. I wouldn't mind admitting to you. I hate to lose and I am a sore loser. I just wanted to win for the class. I wanted to win for those who voted for me. I am still slightly affected but for once, I am going to be a good sport and take it as a lesson learnt. I need to get used to losing. I apologise for losing the debate and also for my behaviour. I acted as if someone died. Even the Elites, especially Navin refrained from getting on my nerves. It will not happen again. I'm staying away from competitions for a while. Navin, you can start your daily annoying-Pam-till-she screams tommorow.

I am so proud of all of you. If I have ever seen a completely united (despite certain tensions) and honourable class, it's you. All each and everyone of you. Unlike some other class, there were no personal attacks, no hits below the belt and no use of primary school words such as "lame" and "bitch fight". Extremely proud of all of you. You were all so professional (exclud. me) and took losing to your stride. All of us or maybe, just me, could have been double the bitch the "rest" were, but we have manners. We're not barbarians. We didn't mock or say anything sarcastic. It was very mature and we can put any one of the immature classes to shame. I feel as if god hand-picked all of you and placed the best in A2. So what if we lost a debate? We have maturity which is more than i can say for 'other classes'. We have our pride and never once stooped so low as to mock anyone at all. I salute you A2. With such characteristics, all of you will go far. Further than people who cannot differentiate a debate from a bitch fight. So anyway, special thanks to those who consoled me or whatever you were trying to do. I assume it was consoling.. And Champa's group in King Lear. You crack me up. Van, Bern, Shimz, Lau, Dan, Max, Syaf, Nisa, Champa, Razia and the list goes on and on. Mostly everyone, really. Thanks again. Pam so love all of you. Muaahh!

Uh, ok people from LAURENT'S group.

Ok, as we are the people up front, we can stay low up till friday. 'cus currently we are awaiting incoming pictures, information provided by the two other groups. I have already received rather gruesome photos of whales being slaughtered. Kudos to Bernnie's group. (please highlight.)

Currently, the ideas given to us are to use,

By right, if we do follow these ideas, we will have a fair share of manpower per section for each idea to handle. BUT, I think the idea of brochures especially, is cliche. Actually, most ideas here are rather cliche. Melvin on the other hand had came up with a brillant idea of an interactive and educational scale model of a before and after "endangering" these animals. I think its ok, but about wether people will participate or not, is another thing all together. Fiona here, I would see her most capable of handling most crafting and design matters, she seems to have come up with ideas for the design of badges. And it seems that its hand made. Another proposal is to be able to allow other group members to assist in our group's work. Seeing the sheer amount of work and organization we have to put in, I can confidently say we have the hardest job. Because we are doing hands on work and not just sitting at home infornt of the comp tying or collect pics to send to each other. WE MUST PHYSICALLY DO THE TASKS ON LOCATION.

I ask for all my group members co-operation and be more proactive.(First habit remember?)

ok, i guess you must be wondering why i have not assigned work to others like the other groups. 'Cus its impossible to do so at such a stage where not even the things that we are supposed to do are set. So I propose to all my group people to stay for a meeting after school(friday 13th).
Main objectives of the meeting are,

To decide on the things to do for the display
Assign tasks
To be absolutely sure on how to get the materials required and to do it
Discuss how other groups can be useful to us

I really hope to see you people after school tommorow when I ask for your presence during HT period in the morning.

To those in my(Bernadette) group for the enviromental preservation project.
I've divided the group into 2 sections, one team in charge of sourcing for pictures of endangered animals and the other in charge of editing those pictures and making them presentable.

Those in charge of collecting the images are:

While Navin will basically be in charge of editing the pictures, making them look neat and presentable and stuff. (Since he's the only one with rad photoshop !~skillzzz~!)

Syaf has requested for one picture to be BIG, like umm A3 size if I'm not wrong.

Ok hawt stuffs,
This is your Power-Pac leader speaking. This concerns Group 1 of the Environmental Project on Endangered Animals. I would say our task is the hardest and most important part of the whole project. We will not need to be so long-winded and repeat and repeat the same thing again and again. No one's going to bother to read anyway. I need to make it interesting. Get interesting facts online. I need each and everyone of you to write-up on endagered species. Some of the pointers are already written in the post below. Use it as a guide. We are actually suppose to get it done by tomorrow but i doubt it can happen. So by Friday, can? I will colate all and we will mix and match, cut and paste. Everyone's work will be used in proportions.

the class has come up with the theme: SAVING ENDANGERED ANIMALS.

Dearest A2s,

I know this blog is meant to be for homework but what I'm going to say has got nothing to do with it. I'm sure everyone is going to share the same sentiments as me. Firstly, I had so much fun on friday and would give anything to do it again. All those that came, I hope you had as much fun as I did. For those who missed it, maybe you can come along the next outing. Here's a summary of what we did. We met at Newton MRT Station and made our way to Newton Circus where we had fantastic food! While eating, we argued, discussed and argued again over where to go next. We settled with Esplanade where we sat by the sea and chatted all night long. Actually, till 11 plus in the night. And then most of us made our way home. For those who went home way after their curfew, hope you didn't get into trouble. And everything that happened or was said on Friday with the A2s, stays with the A2s. I learnt so many things that would be impossible to learnt in classrooms. Thanks for organising this outing, Elites. Who would have thought any of you had brains? I went home feeling so glad and grateful of having such fabulous people as my classmates. In fact, I already knew we were going to gel after the 1st week. My greatest wish is that we remain like this for the rest of our time in MI. The love for you guys grow everyday. (So emotional rite, I know.) Even if someone who were to confirm a place for me in the UNI or give me a million bucks to change class, I'd refuse the offer without any hesitations. (No, really.)

Secondly, thank you so much to all those who wished me today. You have no idea how much it means to see all your names on my fone and on msn with such lovely wishes. I am currently stuck at home on my birthday because of the number of homework we have and also because I have no idea where to go. And receiving your wishes are more than enough to make my smile last throughout the day. And Hafizah, you shouldn't have troubled youself by getting me something. You wishing me is a gift all together. Thank you, sweet heart. I know I'm a very frank person. Too frank sometimes and i say things without thinking. If ever I have hurt anyone in any way, I apologise. ( This apology does not apply to the Elites.) And hopefully no each person feels left out. And Champa (Not Chumpa.), that goes to you as well.
